September 5-11 Nate's Truck / Renting Our Townhouse / Dallin Home / Mom & Lindy Visit

NATE'S NEW TRUCK

Nate has been wanting to get a truck for as long as I remember. He finally got one! It is used but has all the things he wanted in a truck. It's a 2013 Lariat F150. It has black leather seats and is in great condition.

RENTING OUR TOWNHOUSE

Before we moved we talked about renting out our townhouse. We thought it would be a good investment. We did a lot of the work getting it ready for renters, actually I should say Nate did ALL the work getting it ready. I went over 1 day and helped clean a little. He patched up the walls, painted the areas that needed painting, cleaned (we did hire Brenda and Louie's friend to do some deep cleaning), made all the listings and did all the showings. It was a long process but we wanted to get a good renter who we wouldn't have much trouble with so it took a little time.

I'm so glad we did because we got a great renter, his name is Josh Gates. Him and his girlfriend live there and they have a cat. We were kind of hesitant because of the cat thing but he pays a little extra each month. They have been great renters so far.

These are the pictures Nate took to rent our place out.

DALLIN HOME FROM MISSION

My cousin Dallin Fuell got home from his mission this week. He went to the California Irvine Mission speaking spanish. We are so happy to have him back! We weren't able to make it to the airport to greet him but we did meet everyone at Chuck-a-rama for lunch. Lindy and my Mom were here so it was great timing!

GRAMMIE & LINDY VISIT

Grammie and Lindy came to visit! Grammie bought Ruby her first bike! Her legs need to grow just a little longer and she will be able to cruise around on it by herself. She can kind of do it but we still have to give her a push every few pedals.

While they were here we bought some blue chalk paint and painted those chairs I bought at that antique store in Midvale. They turned out really cute!

Ruby even chipped in.

We went to Ikea one day to get some things for the house. My Mom and Lindy helped me buy and put together 2 shoe organizers for the mudroom. They helped me with a bunch of other projects too. Whenever they are around, stuff gets done! It's awesome!

Sunday Ruby wore her backpack from Millie Frei to church.

Always stealing and wearing Grammie's glasses.
