I need to skip forward in the week all the way to...

The biggest event of our week!
WE FOUND OUT WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!
It just didn't feel right to put it in the middle of a random post. It needed to be first! I'm too excited!
Yesterday I woke up and decided to take a pregnancy test. I was a few days late on my period so I decided to check. Also another clue (I had no idea this was the first sign till later) was when I was working out I felt so tired and couldn't do my workouts with the same intensity as before. I started feeling extremely tired, not just normal tired, it was a type of tired that made me shaky or like I had low blood sugar and the energy was zapped right out of me. I knew I had one pregnancy test left over from my last pregnancy so Ruby and I ran downstairs and low and behold....I'm pregnant!
We ran downstairs to Daddy's office and I told Ruby to say, "baby." She wouldn't, but Nathan caught on right away and asked, "are you pregnant?" I didn't cry this time around, I am more excited than scared like last time. I honestly still can't believe it. We started trying about 1 month ago so I wasn't expecting to get pregnant so soon.
This time around I couldn't wait to tell my parents. I tried Face Timing them several times but they didn't answer. They are heading down to San Diego right now for my Mom's painting convention there. They are driving all the way down so that they can haul all my Mom's product. We taught Sunday school today so after that we headed to Tina's. On our way I finally got a hold of my parents and just blurted it out, "I'm pregnant!" My Mom said, "wait, what? I didn't get any time to process that!" They were of course overjoyed and we chatted for a while.
I'm a little nervous to go through pregnancy again. Ruby is still nursing and needs my attention constantly. I'm nervous I'll get super sick like I did last time and have a hard time taking care of Ruby's needs. I just hope and pray she can adapt to the changes smoothly without too much pain.
Other than that, Nathan, Ruby and I are SO excited!
So here we are, with all our bed head hair and sleepy eyes in Nathan's office on the floor taking a picture to remember when we found out about this sweet bundle of joy! We feel so extremely blessed and grateful.
Pooh was pretty excited too.
Here's Ruby later in the day celebrating that she's going to be a big sister by playing with some play dough. She is going to be the best big sister EVER!
She didn't want Pooh to feel left out so she read him several books to make him feel included.
TOP GOLF
Monday was Memorial Day, Peggy and Scott were here so we decided to spend some time at Top Golf as a family. We were on the lower level so Ruby was able to run outside and play on the grass.
ALISON'S HIP HOP HOORAY!
There's a girl on Instagram named Alison from @thealisonshow and she throws these amazing dance parties for women of all ages! They are themed and the one Karly, Ariel, and I went to was called 'Alison's Hip Hip Hooray'. The tickets for her dance parties sell out super fast so Ariel, Karly, and I had decided we wanted to go about a month back and had to be online right at 8 one morning to grab our tickets. The dance party was on Ariel Day's 29th birthday! We all dressed up in 80's attire and danced our booties off!
I ran into Sarah Langford there! What?!
Karly and I ran into Catelin Meyer, one of our hygiene school classmates. She was with a friend who was in the class above us but I don't know her name.
MALL TRAIN
Friday Karly, Ruby, and I went shopping at the mall for a few things. While we were there the mall train was running and Ruby wanted to go on it so bad! How could I say no?!
CHURCH & DINNER AT TINA'S
Sunday we went to church, here's Nathan and Ruby walking in. I couldn't resist getting a picture of them. They are my world those two!
That hat! Ruby loves her sun hat I got her from H&M. She wears it everywhere. I love that she will keep it on.
We went to Tina's later like usual and had some fun outdoor time. Tina bought the cutest little pool for Ruby to splash in whenever we come over! Ruby brought a bunch of little play kitchen stuff out to play with while in her cute pool.
All the adults (Nate, Mike, Hannah, and Zac) played Spike ball and Ruby would occasionally run in the middle of their game. She loves to be right in the center of the action, whatever it may be.
Our Hansen Sunday photo of the week #34.
MORE PHOTOS FROM THIS WEEK...
Heading to Aunt Tina's.
Hanging out at Tina's in her backyard with her baby.
I've been working on a granny square crochet blanket for a while now. It's coming along though! It's Ruby sized now.
Stickers all day, everyday!
I made Butternut Squash Soup for the first time ever! I turned out really yummy, even Ruby loved it.
Ruby got her hand stuck in a glass baby food jar, and couldn't figure out how to get it off. We helped her eventually...
Just doing some light reading.
Playing at her favorite park.
A post card Grammie and P-pa sent Ruby from San Diego while they were there for Grammie's painting show.
