WILLOUGHBY PARK
Play date with Megan and Summer Lewis at a park in Daybreak called Willoughby Park. It is one of our favorite parks to go to because it has a long slide down a hillside, swings, a big open field and a zip line!
MEETING BABY GABBY
My cousin Derek and his wife Ashley just had their second baby girl on August 15th! Her name is Gabriella Kalea Frei. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz, was 19 inches long, and was born at 1:13am.
Nate, Ruby and I took them dinner (Zupas) a few days after they got home from the hospital. We wanted to meet this cutie! She is just the sweetest, cutest thing you ever saw!
HANNAH GET'S HER TONSILS OUT
Hannah has been sick on and off this whole year. Her doctor recommended she get her tonsils out. Here she is before and after surgery. Poor thing! I remember getting mine out when I was much younger and the recovery was not fun.
ADDALYN'S 2ND BIRTHDAY!
We weren't able to be in Idaho to celebrate cute Addalyn's birthday. I got these pictures from Peggy. It looks like it was a fun one though. She currently loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Elmo. She is such a sweet girl and I love that Ruby and her are the same age and get to grow up together.
RUBY'S FIRST BEE STING
While playing at the playground in front of our townhouse Ruby got stung by a bee! Her water sippy was sitting on the bench and she went to get a drink, the bee must have been on her sippy or buzzing around it because not even 30 seconds later she was bawling. Poor Ruby!
It took me a second to figure out what was wrong but then I saw this! We ran inside and put some lavender oil on it. At least now we know she's not allergic, I guess.
PACKING TO MOVE
It's crazy we are moving into an actual house. Nathan and I have been excited for this day to come for so long! We have been bursting at the seams for a while now. We need more space especially now that we have a little one on the way.
It's so wonderful having family around. Tina came over one whole day and helped me pack.
Here's Ruby "helping" me pack...
RUBY'S FIRST TRIP WITH TINA
Tina took Ruby back to her place for a few hours so Nate and I could get some things done. On their way they stopped by Walmart. Tina loves to spoil this girl! She bought her ice cream cups and even a cool pink chair with white polka dots for her to watch TV/movies in at her house! She rode out on the chair in the cart to the car. Tina told us later that she kept saying, "Hi guys! Thank you for coming, love you, bye!" All while waving and smiling. She said everyone smiled and waved back and even a cop honked at her and waved!
IKEA
While at Ikea looking for furniture for the new house, we passed the kids section and Ruby had to try out every single bed. Maybe this is a sign she wants to move to her own bedroom/bed? Naw.
MISC. PHOTOS FROM THIS WEEK...
Graham and Ruby FaceTiming. I love how adoringly he is looking at her even though Ruby looks like a homeless child.
Waiting for Daddy to get our car from the dealership, we got a towing package put on the back of our Honda Pilot.
Shopping with Mommy and napping hard.
Someone got into Mommy's makeup!
She put these on herself, can you tell? Sooooo cute, that big girl!
My cute Dad working on the foundation to their new deck. My Mom sent me these pictures.
