WORK CHRISTMAS PARTY
We had my work Christmas party at our house this year. Dr. Cho had asked me if we could a few months before. It turned out to be really fun.
Sadie was in charge of all the games. She organized a bunch of 'minute to win it' games. Here's all the kids trying to eat a donut hanging from a string with no hands.
This game you wore a nylon over your head with a tennis ball in the end. There were water bottles set up in a line, you had to try to knock them down with only the ball at the end of your nylon.
This game was probably the best one. You sit in a circle and roll a pair of dice. If you get doubles you have to put on a hat, gloves and scarf and only then can you start unwrapping the gift in the middle but only until the next person rolls doubles and you have to immediately take everything off and give them the gift to start unwrapping. The gift in the middle was a giant candy bar.
We did a white elephant gift exchange and also had a wonderful dinner. It was a Thanksgiving feast!
DALLIN & LEXIE'S WEDDING DAY
Dallin and Lexie dated most of high school and she waited for him on his mission. They are the cutest couple! They got married December 16th and then are going to have a reception in January. They had a luncheon the day they got married at Buca di Beppo. It was delicious as usual.

His only job was to take one group picture...
SNOW DAY!
Ruby loves the snow! Even though I'm super preggo and don't fit into any of my winter gear I agreed to take her outside to have a little fun in our backyard.
My favorite thing she does is plop down on her back and make a snow angel. She only moves her feet though, if we say "move your arms" she moves them but not in a sweeping motion in the snow, it's more of a wave in front of her.
GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING
Some traditions just have to be done EVERY YEAR! Gingerbread house making is one of them. We all got together at Tina's and made these adorable gingerbread houses. Some of us (M&H) got really creative and made their house very structurally advanced. While others (me- Nate was a party pooper and wouldn't make one with me) just couldn't stop eating all the graham crackers!
Ruby even made her own! Way to go baby girl!
Mine.
Karly's.
Mike and Hannah's.
Lindy's.
MORE PICTURES FROM THIS WEEK...
Loves her bath time every night. And her toy bucket.
Grammie sent us a manger for baby Jesus. What we hope to do is place the manger by the tree every year and then on Christmas day or Christmas Eve we will place baby Jesus in it to remind us of him and that he is the best gift we can receive.
Before Christmas Ruby was loving swaddling all her babies and putting them in the manger.
This was the first year I've ever sent out family Christmas cards! We just had our family photos taken so I was feeling motivated. I even put together a little review of our year by month called the Hansen Highlights.
Getting everyone's address was a lot more involved than I ever thought it would be. I pushed through though and Ruby helped me mail them off! Done!
My friend from back home, Alyssa Whitenight got married the same day as Dallin and Lexie! Congrats!
